The 2014 ANDY Awards Show and Party took place April 24th at TriBeCa Rooftop. The event celebrated the 2014 ANDY winners and honored some of the most iconic advertising legends of the past 50 years.
Chairman David Droga and members of the Jury announced the 2014 Bronze, Silver and Gold winners along with the Richard T. O’Reilly Public Service Award, the Glen C. Smith Student Award and best in show, the GRANDY.
The International ANDYs also recognized the people and brands behind the best and most creative work. Recipients of the inaugural Bravery Awards were David Abbott, Lee Clow, Jeff Goodby, Bob Greenberg, Sir John Hegarty, Rich Silverstein, Mary Wells Lawrence and Dan Wieden.
Volkswagen was honored as the Bravest Legacy Brand for its “Think Small” campaign in 1959 and other outstanding campaigns that followed. Chipotle was honored as the Bravest Current Marketer for having a very clear point of view and a set of convictions as a brand that stood up and publicly declared it had gone off-track.
