The AD Club hosted a behind-the-scenes look at what it took to make the first surf competition happen in New York, despite all the challenges Hurricane Irene posed.

We heard the from GREG ECONOMOU, Executive Vice President, Madison Square Garden ; JOSEPH PERELLO, Co-Founder and Managing Partner, Catch New York  and PAUL SPEAKER, Executive Producer, Quiksilver Pro New York about the broad range of supporting initiatives, promotions, cause partnerships, skate demos, and other events that surrounded the main event and how they pulled it off.  It was a great example of collaboration in today's mixed media marketplace.
