Connie Garrido comes from a varied background in strategic planning, corporate sponsorships and strategic partnerships, branding, as well as integrated marketing and communications.
As the former Chief Executive Officer of Posterscope Americas, Connie leads the untamed exploration of the most effective ways for brands to truly connect with people wherever and whenever Out-of-Home. Under Connie’s guidance Posterscope has was named Media Specialty Agency/Out-of-Home of the Year in 2010 & 2011 by MediaPost, and was rewarded Media Plan of the Year for 2011 & 2012 by the OAAA.
Formerly, Connie was President and founder of Chrysalis, the non-traditional media agency for Havas. While there she put together a centralized operations and coordinated all non-traditional media activity growing client investment in a difficult media environment. She lead Chrysalis through the strategic alliance with Posterscope now forming a market leader in OOH communications.
Previously as Chief Strategy Officer for Kinetic North America, she directed strategic planning and implementation for three dedicated Out-of-Home and non-traditional media groups, Kinetic, WOW and Mediacom Outdoor. Kinetic NA manages media portfolio investment on behalf of all GroupM as well as bespoke clients, working in tandem with strategic planning units at partner agencies to develop fully integrated, creative communications programs for brands in categories as diverse as packaged goods, spirits, automotive, pharmaceutical, finance, telecommunications, technology, and quick-service restaurants.
Prior to her role as CSO with Kinetic, Connie founded and oversaw the meteoric growth of MindShare North America’s non-traditional specialist group, The WOW Factory. She has also served as National Director of Marketing for the Gannett Outdoor Group, where she spent six years in the U.S. and Canada.
