Beth-Ann Eason is Senior Vice President, Digital Development and General Manager, ZipList for Condé Nast. In her roles, Ms. Eason is responsible for spearheading the development of emerging digital opportunities in addition to overseeing ZipList, the technology leader in online and mobile recipes and shopping lists. Ms. Eason works closely with ZipList cofounder and CEO Geoff Allen to leverage ZipList’s superior technology across other Condé Nast brands as well as with external partners in categories including beauty, health and fashion, among others. She reports to Robert A. Sauerberg, Jr., President of Condé Nast.
Ms. Eason has more than 25 years of experience working in and around media brands. She was formerly the Senior Vice President/General Manager of Epicurious and Gourmet, where she was responsible for brand, revenue and audience development for both entities, until her promotion in July 2013.
Prior to her positions at Condé Nast, she had been General Manager, Chief Operating Officer for Beliefnet, where she was responsible for improving revenue performance and strategic development. She also made critical executive decisions that affected business growth, operations management and revenue expansion.
Prior to Beliefnet, Ms. Eason was a Senior Vice President/General Manager at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, where she directed a full-scale, integrated marketing and communication plan to drive revenues during the redesign and relaunch of the company’s website.
Previously, she was Vice President of Category Development for Yahoo!, where she led several transformations in business philosophy regarding new market development, value-added services, sales planning and CRM.
Ms. Eason has also held leadership roles at Ziff Davis Media, where she spearheaded integrated, multifaceted marketing and brand development strategies to accelerate sales and revenue growth, and at Double-Click, where she oversaw key functions in marketing, customer acquisition, new business development and sales.
Ms. Eason is Chairman Emeritus of the Ad Club of New York and serves on the board of the American Advertising Federation. In 2006, Ms. Eason was inducted into the AAF Hall of Achievement and, in 2007 and 2010, earned the President’s Award from the Advertising Club of New York. She is the founding member of W.O.M.E.N., a professional women’s mentoring program, and has served as an active board member for the Advertising Club of New York, Online Publishers Association and IAB.
In March of 2013, Ms. Eason was elected as Vice Chair of BAA.
