Joanne founded Joanne Davis Consulting in 2000. The firm specializes in agency search/review and compensation management, client/agency relations and client marketing communications optimization. In 2005, Joanne Davis Consulting became a partner in SCAN International to more fully support clients with on the ground expertise for clients with multi-national needs. Clients include and have included the U.S. Department of Defense, Bausch and Lomb, ExxonMobil, Ford, IBM, Merrill Lynch, MillerCoors, Pfizer and Subway.
A frequent speaker and writer, Joanne has addressed audiences in four continents on client/agency relations and compensation. She wrote the latest edition of A Marketer's Guide to Conducting an Agency Search (also available at www.AAAAgencysearch.com) and several best selling booklets for the ANA. She has been the lead client agency relations instructor for the ANA since 2004.
Earlier she worked on the agency side as either board member, president or in management for agencies including Bozell, Wells Rich Greene and DDB.
Joanne has served as AD Club President, Chair of the Board, Chair of several nominating committees, Chair of the “Fashion Advertising” and “Meet the Press” events, Co-Chair of the “Financial Advertising” luncheon and been adhoc committee member to countless Club efforts. She was named by Ad Age as one of the "25 Women to Watch” in the inaugural year of the program and profiled by USA Today for her rain making ability.
She is also on the Board of Advisors for two digital companies: The Three Tomatoes and Videotrope.
