Rick is the Chief Revenue Officer at Telaria (NYSE: TLRA) and leads the company’s global sales organization. He oversees all revenue and sales strategy and is responsible for expanding strategic advertising relationships with the top TV broadcasters, premium video and CTV companies, while deepening engagement with the leading agencies, DSPs and brands.
Rick is an accomplished media and business leader with 20+ years’ experience, who joined Telaria from Rocket Fuel, which was acquired by Sizmek. As CRO, he led a sales organization of 150, charged with selling AI-driven, predictive marketing solutions and resulted in 215% growth in platform revenue. Prior, Rick served as the Global Head of Sales at ZEFR, the leading contextual video advertising company, where he grew the business by 350% and doubled the sales org. He was the EVP National Digital Sales at iHeartMedia, where he drove 70% revenue growth and launched the first Digital Advisory Board. Rick was also at Microsoft Advertising for six and a half years, last serving as the GM for the Eastern US, where he increased revenue four-fold and presided over a sales and service organization of 200. In 2008, he founded “Microsoft Digital Showcase”, the company's first video upfront. Earlier, Rick held sales leadership posts at Yahoo!, Forbes and Ziff-Davis.
Rick currently serves as an Officer and Board Director of The Ad Club of NY and in 2014, was honored with the first “Volunteer of the Year” award. He’s been an IAB MIXX Awards Juror and a founding member of the IAB Sales Certification program. Since 2010, Rick's volunteered for Young Audiences New York, a non-profit which provides arts education programs for underserved NYC public schools. He was also President and Board Director for the 212 NYC Interactive Ad Club. Rick is based in NY and holds a BA from Carnegie Mellon University.
