Onward Search is seeking an Associate Account Executive for a renowned entertainment company.

You’ll provide vital sales support to Account Executives (AE) within the media and entertainment distribution sector, and drive revenue growth by acquiring new business, retaining clients, and expanding across various multimedia and addressable products within the company’s portfolio. This encompasses a range of properties within the domestic broadcast television networks.

This is a full-time, 7-12 month contract opportunity, that is hybrid onsite in NYC. The application deadline for the this opportunity is Friday, March 15, 2024.

As an Associate Account Executive you’ll:

  • Develop and nurture relationships with clients and agencies, focusing on investment teams for holding companies and strategy/planning teams for categories.
  • Translate client needs into sales opportunities and support Account Executives across the media portfolio.
  • Analyze current linear business to uncover digital opportunities and propose optimized inventory solutions.
  • Create and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
  • Act as the main contact for securing client assets and coordinating campaign mock-ups.
  • Compile weekly and quarterly sales reports, tracking meetings and closed deals.
  • Collaborate with Digital Ad Sales (DAS) category vertical teams and Sales Planners on various deals.
  • Work with DAS teams on RFP requests and campaign implementation.
  • Stay informed about video advertising trends and contribute to industry and competitive updates.
  • Foster a positive culture of inclusion and uphold company values.

Associate Account Executive Skills & Experience needed:

  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience with a major publisher or agency, with sales planning experience preferred.
  • Experience with Linear and/or Digital platforms.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to analyze data and translate it into actionable tactics.
  • Problem-solving abilities and collaboration skills across functions.
