More than 350 women poured into the historic Altman Building to soak up insightful conversation with some of the industry’s most savvy thought leaders and executive coaches. The 2019 theme embodied the notion of “Defining Our Moment.” The day concluded with the introduction of the new class of i’mPART Fellows—15 in total. In 2012, Hurricane Sandy approached New York City, the country’s most populous and dense metropolis. City agencies rushed to evacuate residents from low-lying areas and move millions of people out of harm’s way. As the biggest mover of people in the city, the MTA had no way at the time to broadcast real-time evacuation and closure information. The crisis revealed the clear need for the ability to deliver critical messages to residents at the right place and time, especially during a crisis, and after the city recovered, the  OTG kiosk program  was born. The team behind OTG is one of the companies that eventually formed Intersection.

Candid Worldwide teamed up with our OOH partner, Big Outdoor, to print and post a heartfelt thank you to our healthcare and essential workers as well as welcome the USNS comfort to Manhattan. Visible on the West Side Highway the billboard shows the true and enduring impact static OOH signage has.  Candid has remained open and is producing COVID19 safety communications signage. Our in-house design and installation teams are now consulting with our clients on their re-opening strategy. Social Distancing and other safety oriented informational graphics will now have become a huge factor in the advertising space as brands try to convey their commitment to consumer health.
