The AD Club
In her role, she is responsible for all Membership initiatives from recruitment to retention, and enhancing new member benefits. She handles all areas of Professional Development, creating custom workshops and providing alternative approaches for learnings to the industry at large. These key programs include ADTHINK: What’s Trending in Tech and Advertising, YoungInnovatorsAward.com, the first collaborative effort with a trade organization and major media company to honor excellence for up-and-coming leaders in the communications industry to name a few.
In addition to all things related to professional development, she manages Social Media and strategic implementation for the Club, which has led to an increase in our overall online presence. In 2017, she worked directly with the Club’s CEO to launch a new brand awareness campaign with their agency of record, gyro.
In her previous role as Director of Programs, she was responsible for strategic planning and execution of eight to ten marquee Club Programs per year. She produced and expanded the annual Out of Home Media event in conjunction with various associations to present key innovations to the market, tripling event revenue over the course of 5 years since she joined as the Club Manager.
She is a strategic thinker and is instrumental in collaborating to develop innovative content with a focus on emerging markets and technology trends. She has a hybrid career with concentration in the following areas: content development, partnerships, sponsorship, event production and coordination.
Before joining the Club, she was at Adweek Magazines as a Conference Supervisor.
Cathryn graduated from the University of South Carolina with a BS in Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism and a minor in marketing. Go Gamecocks! She is married and has two children.
