Sarah most recently held a leadership role as Category Sales Director for Retail, QSR, and Travel at Oath. Sarah graduated from Rutgers University, holds a Masters Degree in Advertising from Syracuse University, and resides in New York, New York with her family.
Ron Faris, GM, S23NYC DIGITAL STUDIO & GLOBAL GM, SNKRS NIKE
Ron Faris is GM of s23NYC, Nike’s digital product studio in NYC and Global GM of Nike’s SNKRS app. Most recently, he was Founder & CEO of Virgin Mega, a tech startup dedicated to pioneering new social and community interactions for mobile Millennials which was acquired by Nike in 2016. Prior to that, he ran Brand Marketing at Virgin Mobile USA where he was responsible for driving brand strategy, as well as all aspects of creative and consumer-facing offline and online engagement. He is an expert on Millennial and Lifestyle marketing and is a frequent contributor to Harvard Business Review for his work around digital marketing and community engagement.His concept of "newsroom marketing", based on his pioneering work with Buzzfeed in social publishing, earned him several accolades from marketing organizations around the country. He has managed several award-winning music and lifestyle digital and physical programs during his career, including Lady Gaga, UFC, the New York Knicks, Britney Spears, and Virgin Mobile Freefest, the largest free music festival in the country. In 2013, he was awarded the Silver “Effie” Award, the highest award for marketing excellence and effectiveness. Prior to Virgin, Ron was Director of Strategic Partnerships at the video game company, Atari. He lives in Brooklyn with his wife Danielle, his daughter, Austen, and his son, Roscoe.
Jessica Jacobs, Director of Marketing, Wayfair
Jessica is a Director of Marketing at Wayfair, responsible for Display, Social, Content and App marketing for Wayfair, All Modern, Joss & Main, Birch Lane and Perigold. Her team works across Acquisition and Retention. Their main goals are to, one, find new customers and introduce them to the family of brands and, two, engage existing customers to build long-term relationships. Jessica came to Wayfair from NYC where she ran the West Coast set of accounts for an online advertising and data products start-up. Prior to that, she was a manager in the Tech, Media and Telecom practice at McKinsey & Company. She holds an MBA from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business and a BA in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
