Karna Crawford, Head of Consumer Media Strategy & Activation, Verizon

Karna Crawford is an inspirational and decisive leader, who marries data, creativity and innovation to deliver growth of businesses and talent, within competitive industries. Recognized as a leader in marketing and digital transformation, she consistently stewards businesses to challenge status quo and realigns organization capabilities towards future-facing visions. An outcome-driven leader, Karna has focused her career on being a talent magnet and exporter, while creating high performing teams that deliver indelible customer experiences online and offline.

In her role as Head of Integrated Media for Verizon Consumer Group, Karna leads a team in defining the vision for stewarding Verizon’s $1B media investment to maximize business result and brand love. Her team stewards industry transforming initiatives that are redefining how data and creativity combine to both drive sales and elevate the brand and consumer connections.

Prior to joining Verizon, Karna led a number of functions for the Consumer Bank at JP Morgan Chase, including Strategic Marketing; expanding the role of consumer connections, digital and user experience within their capabilities. Karna has also led integrated marketing communications, brand analysis, media and other roles for Fortune 500 companies, including The Coca-Cola Company, Miller Brewing Company, and various Publicis Groupe agencies.

Karna is an inductee into the American Advertising Federation Hall of Achievement, an elite industry award, honoring marketing executives for unparalleled achievements in transforming the marketing and media landscape.

Karna received her BSE in Biomedical Engineering from Tulane University and her MBA in Strategy & Leadership from Emory University. She serves on the Board of the International Radio and Television Society (IRTS), focusing on increasing diversity among young media and marketing emerging leaders, while they are still in college. Karna has also been recognized as a Digiday Changemaker and CDO Club Top Influencer.

Marissa Curcuru, Head of Global Media, Bose  

Marissa Curcuru is the Head of Global Media at Bose. Marissa manages paid media across all channels in NA, EMEA and APAC for the Bose working in close alignment with alliances and social to ensure effectiveness and integration of appropriate communication vehicles. Covering Consumer Electronics and Wellness, Marissa works with her team to drive innovation and efficiency across Bose’s product portfolio.

Marissa began her career at Mullen in Media, working on a number of brands including JetBlue, National Geographic Channels, and Match.com.  After a seven year stint at Mullen, Marissa moved on to Allen & Gerritsen, heading up media for brands such as Waters Corporation, MFS and the Museum of Science.  Prior to joining Bose, she also worked in media sales as an Account Executive for YuMe. Marissa has a Bachelor’s degree in Business from Saint Anselm College and an MBA from Endicott College.  She is also the proud mom of two daughters and a son.

Evan Rutchik, CRO, USA, Ogury

Evan Rutchik is Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) at Ogury. He has managed award winning media campaigns since 2007, previously holding senior roles at digital media leaders on both the technology and agency sides of the business. After joining Ogury in late 2016, Evan has been responsible for scaling the company’s US sales and business effort from the New York City office. Here he has overseen record growth as well as established Ogury’s reputation in North America, opening offices in 10 major US cities. Evan resides on the board of the IAB Mobile Center of Excellence. He often moderates and speaks on panels across the world as an expert thought leader in mobile marketing, first party data and consumer privacy. Evan holds dual degrees in Management and Advertising from Syracuse University and an MBA from NYU Stern.
