SVP, Group Head of Digital Sales
Rick is a renowned digital business leader in the New York advertising community and has worked in digital media and technology for over 25 years. He's been a member of the Ad Club for over fifteen years, having served on the Board since 2013 and is the first recipient of the Club’s “Volunteer of the Year” award. Rick currently works on the US commercial leadership team at Nielsen, as the SVP & Group Head of Digital. His vast experience ranges from video and branded content, to SaaS-based platforms and media measurement. A results-driven, strategic operator with a deep industry rolodex, Rick has proven success helping build companies, from start-ups to multi-billion dollar enterprises. Previously, Rick held sales leadership posts at industry-leading companies, including Yahoo!, Microsoft, iHeartMedia and Rocket Fuel.
An active industry advocate and volunteer, Rick recently joined the Board of Directors of the Harmony Program, a non-profit which delivers music education programming to NYC’s underserved communities. He is a former President of 212NYC, a four-time IAB MIXX Awards juror and a founding member of the Digital Content Newfronts. For seven years, he was the Benefit Chair for non-profit, Young Audiences New York, which provides arts experiences programs to NYC public schools. Rick is a native New Yorker and holds a BA from Carnegie Mellon University.
