Most recently, Rick was the Chief Revenue Officer at Telaria, responsible for expanding strategic video advertising relationships with the top TV broadcasters, publishers and CTV/OTT companies, while deepening demand with the leading agencies and brands. Prior, he led a team of 150 charged with selling AI-driven marketing solutions as the CRO of Rocket Fuel, acquired by Sizmek in 2017. Previously, Rick was the Global Head of Sales at ZEFR, the leading contextual video advertising company, where he grew the business by 350% and doubled the sales org. He also served as the EVP of Digital Sales at iHeartMedia, where he drove 70% growth and launched the first Digital Advisory Board. Rick was at Microsoft for almost 7 years, and directed four-fold ad revenue growth, presiding over a sales organization of 200. In 2008, he founded “Microsoft Digital Showcase”, the company’s first video upfront. Earlier, Rick held sales leadership posts at Yahoo!, Forbes and Ziff-Davis.

Rick currently serves as an Officer of The Ad Club of NY and in 2014, was honored with the first “Volunteer of the Year” award. He’s been an IAB MIXX Awards juror and a founding member of the IAB Sales Certification program. Rick presently chairs the benefit committee for Young Audiences NY, a non-profit which provides arts education programs to underserved NYC public schools. He holds a BA from Carnegie Mellon University and is based in NYC.
