Marla Newman is President of Digital Sales – Lifestyle at Dotdash Meredith, the leading digital and print publisher in the U.S. She leads all aspects of the digital team’s go-to-market strategy and execution for brand, agency and holding company partners.

A 20-year digital media veteran, Marla helped double Meredith Corporation’s digital media business as a share of its overall print and digital brand revenue from 2016 to 2021 and spearheaded the company’s largest strategic brand partnerships with Clorox, Scott’s and Walmart. She also oversaw the post-acquisition integration of the Meredith and Time Inc. sales teams, growing her media team from 40 to 180 sales professionals.

Previously, Marla served as Global Head of Agency Development at AOL and Microsoft. She was responsible for leading global holding company partnerships, helping build innovative solutions across platforms and identifying new revenue opportunities. She’s also held leadership roles at FOX Sports Digital, MTV Networks and MSN.

Marla graduated from the University of Oregon, where she earned bachelor of science degrees in marketing and management.
