Seth Rogin
Chief Commercial Officer, The Real Deal, and Executive Chairman, Oxford Future of Marketing Initiative
Seth Rogin is Chief Commercial Officer of The Real Deal, the world's leading real estate business news source and home of the most affluent audience in the Western Hemisphere. Seth was previously the President & CEO of Nucleus Marketing Solutions, a joint venture of Hearst, Gannett, McClatchy, and Tribune to drive revenue, partnership, and technology leadership for the American news industry.
Seth is Executive Chair for the Oxford Future of Marketing Initiative at The University of Oxford's Saïd Business School, where he is an Associate Fellow, Co-Instructor of "Digital Transformation of Marketing, Media and Advertising," and Co-Head of the Oxford News Marketing Programme with the school's Dean of Research.
From 2013 until 2016, he was Mashable's first CRO, serving as a part of the leadership team that built the company by 10x in just three years. Before that, he was VP of Advertising at The New York Times for 13 years, having launched a number of transformational products including T: The New York Times Style Magazine.
Seth is an award-winning media leader, named "Industry Luminary of the Year" by iMedia. He was inducted into MIN's Media Sales Hall of Fame, and was recently named one of the 50 Male Advocates for Equality in Media and Marketing.
Seth is a member of the Board of Directors of The Jerry Garcia Foundation alongside rock legend Bob Weir. He's also an investor in the current Broadway production of "Gypsy" starring Audra McDonald, which generated five 2025 Tony nominations. He previously backed the Broadway play "The Inheritance," which won four 2020 Tony Awards including Best Play of the Year.
