Chief Purpose Officer

Tombras

Lindsay Harris is a senior leader operating at the intersection of purpose, creativity, media, and communications – building strategies that don’t just sound good, but do good. With a career spanning advertising, journalism, and nonprofit leadership, she specializes in translating values into action: shaping purpose-driven platforms that strengthen brands, earn cultural relevance, and create meaningful impact in the world.

As Chief Purpose Officer at Tombras, Lindsay works across disciplines – creative, strategy, media, brand, and communications – to ensure purpose sits at the core of client strategy and nonprofit campaigns. She also leads the agency’s partnership with the Tombras School of Advertising & PR at the University of Tennessee, focused on diversifying the next generation of industry talent and expanding access to opportunity in the creative industries.

Previously, she served as Chief of Social Impact at Havas, driving internal purpose initiatives including B Corp certification efforts, philanthropic strategy, and award-winning pro bono work—most notably the #BuryTheBills campaign with NYC Pride. Before that, she led the nonprofit Today, I’m Brave, helping underserved youth unlock confidence and courage through storytelling and immersive experiences like Brave Camp, which brought 100 underprivileged students from Sacramento to a week-long camp in Portola, California.

Earlier in her career, as Editor of Campaign US, Lindsay built platforms that reshaped industry conversations—launching the Female Frontier Awards, Power of Purpose Awards, and evolving inclusivity-focused recognitions, while spearheading an industry-wide maternity and paternity policy report that helped drive real organizational change.
