Pay $55 – $60 hourly

Onward Search needs a Business Analyst for a Tech company.

This is a 6+ month contract opportunity. Hybrid, 1-2 days weekly in NYC office.

As a Business Analyst you’ll:

• Collaborate with Team Leads to establish Team Key Results, providing agile teams with clear objectives for product and feature delivery.
• Work closely with geographically dispersed Team Leads to elaborate on feature scopes and intricacies.
• Analyze requirements comprehensively and transform them into functional and system design specifications.
• Articulate intricate changes effectively, leading workshops and discussions to derive solutions aligned with Team Key Results.
• Ensure the involvement of relevant Team Leads and Technical Leads in validating design decisions.
• Condense requirements into user stories tailored for consumption within a sprint by Agile teams.

Qualifications:

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering
• Accumulate 3 to 5 years of experience as an Agile Business Analyst
• Demonstrate a proven track record of supporting complex change and multi-disciplinary projects, consistently achieving successful delivery.
• Possess expertise in handling extensive datasets within Equity, Commodities, Forex, Futures, and Options asset classes.
• Display proficiency in SDLC, Agile methodologies, and Cloud Computing Technologies.
• Possess an understanding of feature modeling techniques and methods.
• Familiarity with tools such as MS Azure Dev-Ops, Jira, Confluence, and MS SharePoint is advantageous.
