Digital Designer (#72979)

Pay $50 – $60 hourly

Onward Search needs a Digital Designer for a large financial services client.

You’ll join the Global Marketing and Communications team in creating compelling design solutions that help tell the company’s brand story, visually bringing thought leadership content to life and maintaining a consistent and accessible digital experience.

This is a 6 month extendible contract opportunity that sits 3 days hybrid in Manhattan, NY.

As a Digital Designer you’ll:

• Be working from the brand guidelines, provide creative design solutions, art direction and template development for cross-platform concepts and documentation that adhere to best practices and brand standards
• Conduct image searches and create mood boards that convey business specific messaging and drive a cohesive look and feel across marketing material
• Create branded webpages and social assets in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite and develop collateral and templates in Microsoft Office/PowerPoint.
• Collaborate with other marketing, communications, video and brand teams across the company to tell a consistent brand story. Partner with internal communications teams in creating graphics for employee communications (events, newsletters, Intranet etc.)
• Work closely with front and back-end Developers to finalize, test and publish webpages
• Handle production work, as needed, to meet project deadlines
• Champion and follow ADA guidelines

Skills & Experience needed:

• BA or BFA in Graphic Design or related discipline required
• Minimum of 2-4 years of design work experience
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Powerpoint, Word, etc.)
• Expertise in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
• Knowledge of Content management tools such as AEM or WordPress
• Knowledge of project management tools such as Workfront or Percolate
• Excellent client-facing and presentation skills required
• Strong collaboration skills working with other teams and stakeholders
• Proven ability managing multiple, on-going timelines, as well as daily “rush” asks
• Flexibility to adapt to design requirement changes
• Outstanding attention to detail
