Onward SEARCH needs a QA Engineer II for our client, a Fortune 500 financial analytics company.
You’ll join the Quality Assurance team to be a key player in planning, preparation and execution of tests for web-based applications/systems
This is a 6 month contract opportunity. Hybrid 2-3 days onsite in NYC

As a QA Engineer II you’ll:
- Evaluate requirements and define testing objectives and approaches; manage testing tools and environments, test preparation, execution, and automation.
- Continuous review and improvement of the testing and quality assurance methodologies and measurement of these processes.
- Coordinate with onshore and offshore QA teams.
Skills & Experience needed:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience or certification.
- 5+ years experience in quality assurance.
- 3+ testing method/testing tool/programming languages/technology environments.
- Demonstrated skill to proactively resolve issues and escalate appropriately.
- Experience in supporting all quality assurance tasks in the software engineering process.
- Demonstrated experience in test automation (scripting, onboarding to pipeline and maintenance) with Python and Selenium based automation framework.
- Demonstrated experience with SQL required.
- Demonstrated experience with testing APIs and Web Services.
