What are some tips for a young creative to stay innovative and bring fresh ideas to the table?
- Receive – Ideas and inspiration can come at any time from anywhere. Always be open and ready to receive them.
- Get out of your comfort zone – Allow yourself to try new things and approach them from the viewpoint of a student. Enjoy the process of learning something new and instantly forgive yourself if you make a mistake. If you’re busy beating yourself up, you’ll miss the next opportunity.
- Say “yes and” – Look for the good in any idea, build upon that and see where it leads. Saying “no” leads nowhere.
