17th Annual AD Futures Pitch Competition

ICYMI: This November 19th 2020, marked the 17th Annual Ad Futures Competition. Congratulations to our 2020 winners: John Adams High School!!

Every year the ACNY Foundation hosts up to 15 NYC high school teams for our Annual AD Future’s Competition. NYC high schools and Virtual Enterprises International (VE), partner to transform students through authentic business experiences – preparing them for fulfilling, financially secure futures. The ACNY Foundation further extends the experiential learning by challenging students to create a viable campaign, based off of a creative brief generated by our partners at The AD Council.

From there, we enlist Mentors from our member agencies to spend three weeks working with teams…bringing their campaigns to life.

Much like the rest of 2020, this year our competition went virtual! 13 Schools came together to compete live on zoom, where dozens of their peers and community members joined in to watch. This year’s campaign brief: Anti- Vaping.

Finally, the big pitch showdown where teams compete for bragging rights and a chance to host the Stanley Cup sized trophy for one year in their school trophy cases.

Relive the experience here!

Many thanks to our 2020 Agency Mentors – LINK9/HARRISON AND STAR, DROGA 5, DIGIT (INTERNAL), BBDO, ESSENCE, PUBLICIS NA/VIVA WOMEN OF COLOR, GREY, MOMENTUM, WPP – KINETIC , VMLY&R

Special thanks to our Ad Futures Judges:
