Best-Selling author Minda Harts is also the Founder & CEO of The Memo LLC- a career development platform for women of color. Minda’s debut book, The Memo: What Women of Color Need To Know To Secure A Seat At The Table, has garnered widely reviewed success since its release in August 2019. She is currently in the midst of her book tour. Minda is also an Assistant Professor at NYU’ ’s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service.

In 2016, Minda was nominated as a Change Maker at The White House State of Women Summit. She serves as a mentor at General Assembly in New York City and alumni of The Points of Light Civic Accelerator. In 2018, she was named one of 25 Emerging Innovators by American Express.

Minda has been featured on MSNBC’s Morning Joe, Fast Company, The Guardian, and Time Magazine. Frequently speaks at companies like Microsoft, Levi’s, Google, and Bloomberg on topics such as Leadership, Managing Diverse Teams and Self-Advocacy. She also hosts a weekly podcast called Secure The Seat.

In addition to her passion for helping women of color secure their seat at the table, Minda is also a lover of grits and rap lyrics.
