As the EVP of Account Services, Juan is responsible for driving business strategy, thought leadership and creative innovation for multiple brands in WI’s portfolio, including Constellation Brands, Visa, FritoLay, Pepsi, BMS and City of New York. His work on these brands has helped WI bolster its DE&I capabilities as well as extend WI’s strength in building culture-forward and purpose-driven brands. Additionally, he has been responsible for the agency’s overall new business growth plan, strategy and process to drive organic and incremental growth across offices. He joined Walton Isaacson from GlobalHue where he was EVP, Group Account Director on Verizon Wireless, United Airlines, Autozone, Coca-Cola and US Bank while leading global new business development. Prior to GlobalHue, he led marketing efforts for Method, Suave and Kraft accounts at Droga5.
Juan, whose experience extends across the telecommunications, retail, entertainment, insurance, and pharmaceutical industries, began his agency career in Account Management at Lowe and Partners and Cliff Freeman & Partners. Bonilla also spent seven years at McCann Erickson where he was VP Management Representative leading the communication efforts for a wide variety of blue-chip accounts, including Comcast-owned Versus Network, Novartis, Pfizer, Coca-Cola and Applebee’s. Juan has experience developing diverse segment strategies and marketing programs for Hispanic, Black and LGBTG consumers in addition to his general market background. He graduated from Wesleyan University with a BA in English.
