As you look back at the last year, what are some of your favorite highlights from the program?

I enjoyed the conferences and our group dinners–at those times, it was a great opportunity to connect with our cohorts and get to know each other.

What leadership skills (or other skills) have you gained since you’ve joined the program? How are you putting those skills to use within the industry, your community and beyond?

Vulnerability. There is strength in connecting with others during moments when you need support. Looking towards the future, I want to be a better leader.  To be an effective leader, you need to be both confident and vulnerable to connect with others.

What is the best advice you have received as an AD Fellow?

Confidence is always key.
