Always thinking forward, and looking for new ideas, Marc Stephenson Strachan brings significant credentials to the Marketing & Advertising Industry. Marc is currently the CMO of the ADGILE Media Group, the nation’s first tech- enabled truck-side media and promotional platform. Before establishing his Coaching practice, and The Arsenal Approach© to personal and professional development, Marc most recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief Client Officer of Publicis-Sapient, a role in which he managed an expansive team of senior leaders and staff, responsible for all elements of client marketing and corporate revenue. While at Diageo, North America, Marc served several roles during an 11-year tenure. These included Vice President, Corporate Relations, and Constituent Affairs, responsible for the development and execution of Government, and Commercial programs, including Military Marketing and Community Relations. He was the company’s external liaison for executive leadership and guidance, to a national diaspora of constituents, that had an interest in the Beverage Alcohol Industry. Marc held positions as Vice President of North America of On-Premises Strategy and Multicultural Marketing, Director of Brand Marketing for Tanqueray and the entire US Gin Portfolio, and Cîroc Vodka, where he led the brand to become the fastest-growing spirits brand in history, and one of the most successful revenue-generating vodka brands in the Diageo portfolio. Marc has also enjoyed working in the film and music industries where he has several recognized credits. An accomplished writer, Marc previously wrote a quarterly Opinion Piece for ADWEEK.com. A passionate and purpose-driven leader, Marc’s career combines over thirty years of agency and client management experience on a variety of levels. Marc began his career on Madison Avenue as a MAIP Intern at Compton Advertising (now Saatchi). His career has seen stints at NW Ayer, The Mingo Group, Leo Burnett (where he co-founded the Vigilante agency), and BBDO. His focus on strategic, niche marketing and targeted program development is one of the keys to his career accomplishments. A former Director of the 4A’s Institute of Advanced Advertising Studies, Marc is the Chair Emeritus of the Board of Directors of ADCOLOR, Inc. Marc currently serves as the Chair of the Board of Trustees for Adelphi University, where he and his wife established four (4) scholarships for Students of Color; and was a former member of the Board of Directors of the Association of National Advertisers, and the New York Council and Diversity Committees of the American Association of Advertising Agencies, and the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre. A recipient of numerous industry awards and accolades, Marc is a proud native of Brooklyn, New York, and a proud father of three. Marc and his family currently reside in Manhattan, New York.
