Meet The Fellows: Bernice Veloz

 

Before starting her new role as Senior Account Manager at Culture Trip, Bernice was an experienced Content & Partnerships Manager at Publicis Media Groupe. She has a history of developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns for Metro by T-Mobile, Liberty Mutual, eBay and Campbell’s Soups Company.

A “Multicultural Marketing Guru in Training” Bernice is passionate about captivating stories that leave an indelible impact on Hispanic and African American culture. Notable recent campaigns include Freeform’s Grownish, Univision’s Latin Grammy Awards, and Bravo’s Top Chef. Before Publicis, Bernice was a Partnership Marketing Coordinator at Univision Communications, and Post-Producer at Company 3 where she got her first taste of marketing and advertising. The first brand creative campaign she post-produced was Chevrolet Impala’s “Inspiration” featuring John Legend.

This proud Afro Latina is passionate about all things film, television, music and Salsa dancing. She’s an advocate for women of color as NYC Chapter President of Real Brown Girls, a multi-industry national sisterhood of women ready to advance in their personal and professional lives. One of her proudest accomplishments is being selected for The Advertising Club of NY’s imPART Fellowship Program, and being an inaugural class member of Adweek’s Executive Mentorship Program.
