Meet The Fellows: Chelsea St. Clair

Chelsea St. Clair has spent the entirety of her career thus far pushing to be in strategic roles that work to flex her critical thinking and curious nature. After graduating from the University of Kentucky (and her third agency internship) Chelsea moved to Boston to start her career as a Brand Strategist at Arnold Worldwide. There she racked up a few regional awards for her work including first place in The Ad Club’s pitching competition, Brandathon, and first place in the New England region’s 4A’s Institute of Advanced Advertising Studies pitching competition.

At the same time, she was building a lifestyle and travel blog called “whyTFnots” to inspire the next generation of young women of color to travel. She pitched to local travel companies and won a contract to write and create social content for Student Universe during her travels and left Arnold for the opportunity. After six months and 15 different countries, she landed in LA with a position at sparks & honey.

While in LA she worked as a cultural strategist and used her freetime to create more initiatives centered around diversity for the local community. She partnered with Higher Heights to host a Genius Bank and a panel full of Black women focused on political power within the demographic. She also revived the MAIP Alumni community as the West Coast Chair.

In February, she made the cross-country move to work out of sparks & honey headquarters in New York City. In her tenure at the company she has worked across tech, healthcare, and fashion industries helping to provide nuanced insights and futures for clients.

Recently, she was a Cannes Can: Diversity Collective Fellow and used her position to build and moderate programming for the first ever beach at Cannes Lion Festival of Creativity aimed at creating more inclusivity.

In her free time she is learning how to play guitar, writing short stories, and making mediocre attempts to become TikTok famous.
