Meet The Fellows: Mariah Youngblood

Mariah Youngblood is an Associate Director of Planning at Wavemaker, where she helps lead a small, dedicated team of strategic thinkers and planners. After graduating from Northwestern University, she started her career at full-service agency Cramer-Krasselt, working on multidisciplinary teams on Travel, Entertainment, and B2B accounts and honing her skills as a media planner.

Since moving to New York in 2015, she’s expanded her expertise to include CPG and Pharma, as well as jumping at the chance to work on new business opportunities that help grow agency rosters. Her current and previous client experience includes: Bristol Myers Squibb, Otsuka, Novo Nordisk, Cedar Fair Amusement Parks, Grainger, and Church & Dwight.

A strong strategic and analytic thinker, she prides herself on being highly collaborative and introducing innovation to drive results.

While her early career focused on media planning, her longstanding passion has been developing brand strategy and championing truly inclusive marketing in all her initiatives. As a proud product of the Advertising Club of New York’s i’mPARt Fellowship, she strives to introduce more multicultural thought leadership and diverse voices to drive industry-wide change.
