Meet The Fellows: Taylor Yarbrough

Taylor Yarbrough was born and raised in New Orleans and has lived in Houston, Atlanta, and New York City. As a graduate of Spelman College, Taylor earned her BA in Psychology. Her introduction into the advertising world came as an intern at Ogilvy & Mather in NYC where she worked on the British Airways account. She fell in love with advertising and later joined Ogilvy Atlanta on InterContinental Hotel Group’s account team. While there, she also served on the Black Diaspora leadership team and founded the inaugural Mandela Day of Service at Ogilvy.

After working in the creative staffing industry at both Creative Circle and The Creative Group, Taylor landed her dream job at the American Association of Advertising Agencies (4A’s). There, she had the distinct honor of running the industry’s largest and longest running talent development program, the Multicultural Advertising Intern Program (MAIP).

Now, as the Associate Director, Global Culture & Inclusion at FCB Global, Taylor is very excited to partner with FCB offices around the world and help them create intentionally inclusive environments. She is Cook Ross-certified, so travels often to provide essential implicit bias trainings to FCB. Offices around the world. As a Hogan Assessment certified coach, she’s made a deep impact on leaders in the FCB network that she’s coached from the c-suite on down.

Some of her accomplishments include winning the Bill Sharp Award, the Unsung Hero Award (Ogilvy), and graduating from the 4A’s Institute of Advanced Advertising Studies.

Taylor is also a successful singer-songwriter, having had her very first single, “In My Head”, featured in Spike Lee’s Netflix series, She’s Gotta Have It.
