Rockstar – China Macena

China is a Creative Director with really good intentions.

She is most passionate about making a meaningful impact, especially in her work. From beer to bodywash, she always brings attention to nuances in culture, self-expression, and individuality. That passion has led to some brave, award-winning projects, her favorites being a visual podcast that challenged the country’s perception of beauty (for Ulta Beauty). And the largest step competition in history that also helped college kids pay their student loans (for Sprite). 

Currently, she is putting her talent and leadership skills to use at McCann New York. In her free time, she and her partner are raising two babies - their rum brand and their toddler. Both are shaping up to be really good.
