AAPI Heritage Month | Innovator: Sakib “Saks” Afridi

Saks Afridi is an award-winning Executive Creative Director and multidisciplinary artist who blends technology, culture, and storytelling across advertising and art. He currently leads creative for Mercedes-Benz, has led creative for brands like White Castle and Novartis, earning Cannes Gold Lions, D&ADs, One Show Pencils, and a UN Award for Peace and Understanding. His art – reimagining ancient South Asian and Middle Eastern motifs through a futuristic lens, has been exhibited at the Tate Modern, Weltmuseum Vienna, Ford Foundation, and this fall at Aga Khan Museum in Toronto. He’s also an author, his latest book: “Why the Porsche 911 Is the Answer to Most of Your Problems” is available on Amazon.
