Black History Month | Innovator: Carole Diarra

 

Carole Diarra is a strategic global executive leading brand, marketing and business transformation with  over 20 years of experience in Fortune 500 companies and private businesses. She is currently the Vice  President of Global Marketing for the UGG brand, where she leads the brand communications,  collaborations, social/PR, marketing, and creative departments. Carole previously served as the Global  Chief Marketing Officer of Arbonne International, a social selling company privately held with $750M in  revenue where she led the R&D and marketing teams and drove exceptional growth (+30%) in the  nutrition wellness category. She spent 15 years at L’Oreal SA, a $22B leader in the beauty industry  where she held various positions in brand management, marketing, P&L, and innovation. She started  her career at Accenture, she was recognized for leading the Department of Housing’s eGovernment  strategy. Carole is passionate about inspiring, uplifting and empowering women and people of color.  Carole has two children and has lived and/or worked in New York, Paris, London, Spain, and Central  America. She is fluent in French with a working knowledge of Spanish.
