Colossal Media Celebrates 21 Years with Limited-Edition “Crisp Strokes” Pilsner, Brewed by Brooklyn Brewery
BROOKLYN, NY – New York brands Colossal Media and global craft beer innovator Brooklyn Brewery are set to release a limited-edition Pilsner dubbed Crisp Strokes to celebrate Colossal Media’s 21st anniversary of revitalizing hand-painted outdoor advertising – both as a service and creative profession.
To celebrate 21 years—and a milestone worthy of raising a glass—Colossal teamed up with a brand that mirrored its own story: a fellow Brooklyn-based company that shares its values of craft, tradition, and creativity. The result is Crisp Strokes, a limited-edition Pilsner releasing October 23.
“Crisp Strokes is a testament to the power of betting on Brooklyn, craft, and tradition,” said Kelly Peppers, President at Colossal Media. “Recognizing 21 years of Colossal with our long-time neighbors at Brooklyn Brewery was the perfect way to cheers to more than two decades of painting in our backyard and around the world while raising a glass to the walls we paint, and the team and city that make it all possible.”
The can design features Colossal’s painters mid-rig, a nod to the walldogs who scale buildings daily to keep New York’s walls alive with murals. Like a clean line of paint or a perfectly poured pint, Crisp Strokes is balanced, bright, and crafted to leave an impression.
“Crisp Strokes is a dialogue between two Brooklyn traditions—brewing and brushwork,” stated John Samels, Creative Director at Colossal Media. “The can design shows our painters up on the rig, because just like every sip of beer, every stroke of paint takes patience, pride, and a steady hand.”
