Hispanic Heritage Month | Rockstar: Elainne Diaz
Arriving in the U.S. from the Dominican Republic at 15, Elainne Diaz began a journey of personal and professional transformation.
She immediately focused on her education, learning English and finding a part-time job to support financially and immerse herself in new cultures. Elainne completed her Bachelor's degree in International Business and Finance at Baruch College's Zicklin School of Business, where she benefited from expanding her passion for global exploration and studied abroad in Hong Kong and Italy.
She became fluent in Italian and gained valuable experience working as a Corporate Relationship Analyst at the leading Italian bank, Intesa Sanpaolo S.A. In this role, she managed a large portfolio of Italian business clients, marketing and advising them on the most suitable financial instruments for their needs. This experience sparked her interest in how businesses communicate with consumers and inspired her to pursue an MBA in Marketing at Fordham University, Gabelli School of Business.
She's now proud to contribute to Verizon’s success in the Integrated Marketing organization, where she lead both national and local Latino marketing campaigns ensuring every initiative resonates to the segment authentically and successfully goes to market.
