Judy Jackson, best known for her candid, straight-forward approach and her unmistakable laugh, is driven by bringing out the best in others while maintaining her authentic self. Judy is a well-respected thought leader in human resources management whose career includes stints as Global Chief Talent Officer at Wunderman Thompson; Chief Talent officer at IPG Mediabrands, NA; Digitas, and HR roles at Time Inc., ABC Disney and Planned Parenthood.
In January 2019, Judy was asked by Mark Read, the recently appointed CEO for WPP to take on a newly created role heading up Culture. In this role, Judy will provide the vision and strategy for building culture in an organization of 149,000 people.
She has contributed to several articles and books on human resources management, including The Coaching Connection: A Manager’s Guide to Developing Individual Potential in the Context of the Organization and Career GPS: Strategies for Women Navigating the New Corporate Landscape. Judy has been active in several organizations and is a former president of BRAINY, an organization focused on developing people of color in the communications industry.
Her chief project outside of work is being the best friend to her loving husband and a mom to her amazing teenage daughter.
