Aruna Natarajan is the Chief Client Officer of EssenceMediacom, where she is responsible for client relationships across the portfolio, as well as developing and driving the overall agency organic growth strategy. In this role, Aruna works closely with our clients to drive their transformation agenda. Aruna helps ensure that clients have access to the best media talent, strategic leadership, tools, systems and processes that power the EssenceMediacom breakthrough approach to media planning & buying.
Aruna is a media professional by training, with extensive agency experience in complex local markets like the US, India and China, regional agency leadership roles in Asia Pacific, as well as global and North America leadership roles within WPP. Aruna has diverse category expertise ranging from healthcare, CPG and retail to financial services, automotive and luxury.
Aruna is a 2005 WPP Atticus Award winner for her thought leadership work on the ‘sandwich generation’ in China. Aruna is passionate about building a dynamic & inclusive culture within the workplace, actively participating in the 4As Vanguard mentorship program, as well as the SheRunsIt mentorship program.
