Meet the 2025 Fellows – Nawal Moustafa, Senior Manager, Sales Marketing, Raptive

A dynamic marketing strategist and storyteller, Nawal A. Moustafa blends digital expertise with creative insight to deliver meaningful results.
As Senior Marketing Manager at Raptive, she develops creator-led programs for Fortune 500 advertisers across tech, entertainment, pharma, finance, and auto. Recognized for driving innovation and measurable growth, Nawal has generated over $7M+ in revenue throughout her career, leading campaigns that connect brands with audiences in authentic, resonant ways.
Her career began in legacy media at People Inc., where she built her expertise in digital marketing and brand partnerships across leading titles, including People, InStyle, and Entertainment Weekly. There, she also co-founded BLACKPRINT, the company’s first employee resource group for Black professionals in media and entertainment, and SALAM, an internal community amplifying voices from the MENA diaspora.
Motivated by her multidimensional mindset and background as a project manager and creative director, Nawal creates experiences that merge creativity, strategy, and purpose. Outside of work, Nawal finds inspiration in movement — through travel, music (whether playing the flute or binging her favorite song of the week), and exploring global cuisines — passions that deepen her understanding of people and perspectives.
Originally from Pennsylvania’s Pocono Mountains and now based in New York City, she earned her degree in Mass Communications with dual minors in Sociology and Business Administration from St. John’s University.
What does success mean to you?
To me, success is about staying inspired, grounded, and teachable — leading with empathy while creating work that drives meaningful impact. As a first-generation Arab American navigating corporate America, earning a seat at the table is something I’m proud of, but my deeper purpose is to expand it — building strategies that unite inclusion, innovation, and results for global brands. Ultimately, success is the freedom to create fearlessly, bringing ideas to life that transcend a brief and make a lasting impact.
What do you hope to gain from this fellowship?
I hope to gain exposure to new rooms and conversations — learning from industry leaders, connecting with my cohort, and discovering fresh ways of thinking. I’m excited for opportunities that stretch my creativity and broaden my perspective. I can’t wait to see what the year ahead brings!
